OUR COLLABORATION
Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Florida Chapter 4 works very closely with the Veterans Council of Duval County. We collaborate together to help Veterans and their Families in a variety of ways including emergency funds, relocation assistance and medical equipment assistance.
How does it work? The Council receives a multitude of various types of requests for help from Veterans throughout Duval County. They pass many of these requests on to us to provide the required support and vice-versa.

How it works
- A Veteran or Veteran's Family simply visits the Veterans Council of Duval County website to learn about the Council: https://jaxvcdc.org/
- A Veteran or Veteran's Family submits an email to the Veterans Council of Duval County explaining their need, issue or concern. Emails can be sent to: [email protected]. Be sure to put "Veteran In Need" in the subject line of the email.
- Once received, the request is pushed out to the Veterans Service Network, including Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Florida Chapter 4.
- The Veterans Service Network collaborates with the Veterans Council of Duval County to accommodate the request.
THE VYSTAR VETERANS MEMORIAL ARENA TRUST FUND
The purpose of the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena Trust Fund is to provide periodic funding to support Veterans' programs and initiatives serving U.S. Military Veterans residing in Duval County. It is a permanent trust fund of the city that carries forward each year and does not lapse.
The City of Jacksonville will donate to the Trust Fund 10% of the annual license fee revenues, together with 10% of any liquidated damage fees paid pursuant to the Vystar Arena Naming Rights Agreement. The Veterans Council of Duval County evaluates eligible programs and initiatives and makes recommendations for funding and provides full accounting to Mayor's Office each year.
