TEMPLATE (just copy and past this text):
Sir or Ma'am, I am requesting your help to co-sponsor the legislation designating this developing memorial and museum on 26 acres in Jacksonville (formerly part of Naval Air Station Cecil Field). There are memorials that honor our POWs and MIAs in other areas of the country, but this site will be truly a comprehensive center of national prominence and a place where the public will be educated about POWs and MIAs from all wars beginning with WWII, able to do research, see artifacts and enjoy interactional displays of meaning. It will also be a place for reflection and solace and events will be held throughout the year. It does not compete with other memorials but rather enhances and is in partnership. Please visit https://www.powmiamemorial.org/ to see the site plan and vision of this organization.
This legislation is truly bipartisan and there is no funding involved. Please add your name and be part of this unique and compelling effort to honor and maintain the legacy of these heroes and their families.
Sincerely,
