5-17 RIDING INTO HISTORY
Our chapter will be participating in the escorted ride from Jacksonville Power Sports on Atlantic Blvd to World Golf Village in St Augustine, for the Riding Into History Concours d'Elegance for Motorcycles, in loving memory of Brenda Thomas.  Brenda participated in this ride for many years.  She was an avid supporter of Buddy Check 12 and raising cancer awareness.  Now, it is our turn to carry on the support for Brenda's cause, as well as the support of her family.

Please arrive no later than 8:00 am.  Kick stands up will be at 8:15 am.  This will allow us to arrive at Jacksonville Power Sports by 9:00 AM.  The escorted ride leaves at 10:00 AM for World Golf Village.  Each bike participating in this event will receive a TEAM BRENDA card for their windshield.  These will be given out at the Chaffee Road starting point.

POW's Prayer
By: Jean Ray and L. Vancil

Father,
Your own Son was a prisoner.
Condemned, he died for us.
Victorious, He returned to bring us the gift of life everlasting.
Comfort us now in our longing for the return of the Prisoners Of War and those Missing In Action.

Help Us Father;
Inspire us to remove the obstacles.
Give courage to those who know the truth to speak out.
Grant wisdom to the negotiators, and compassion to the jailors.
Inspire the media to speak out as loudly as they have in the past.
Protect those who seek in secret and help them to succeed.
Show us the tools to do Your will.
Guard and bless those in captivity, their families, and those who work for their release.
Let them come home soon.

Thank you Father.
Amen

NEW  MESSAGE  BOARD

Rolling Thunder® Jax Chapter 4 has a new message board. There was an issue with the old message board service provider posting political ads on the board that were not to Rolling Thunder's liking.

As discussed in February's chapter meeting, we have chosen a new provider for the board. The new Message Board requires that you register again. With the new board we will also have better control over the Rolling Thunder members only section. When you register please email the webmaster to get the member status to get into the members only room. Please include your name and username in the email so I know who to give member status. Sorry for the inconvenience

Remember the message board is yours. Register and use it.

Thank You                                       webmaster@rollingthunderjax.org

STAFF SERGEANT KEITH "MATT" MAUPIN
Thank You Matt Maupin for your service to our country. You paid the ultimate sacrifice defending this country and our freedom. We will be forever in your debt and you will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
MISSION STATEMENT

The major function of ROLLING THUNDER®, is to publicize the POW/MIA issue; to educate the public that many American prisoners of wars were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future veterans from being left behind should they become prisoners of war/missing in action. We are also committed to helping American veterans from all wars.
Rolling Thunder® is a non-profit organization. Members donate their time because they believe in the issues we are working on.
